Birlikte Çalıştığım Birinin Gözünden Ahmet Sözen

Ahmet ile çalışmaya başladığınızda kısa sürede şunu fark edersiniz:
Onun için sistemler yalnızca çalışması gereken makineler değildir. Sistemlerin nasıl çalıştığını anlamak, nerede sorun çıkabileceğini görmek ve gerektiğinde çözüm üretmek onun doğal refleksidir.

Uzun yıllar boyunca farklı ortamlarda birlikte çalışma fırsatımız oldu. Radyo yayıncılığı dönemlerinden teknik kurulumlara, bilgisayar sistemlerinden sahadaki operasyonlara kadar birçok farklı alanda aynı yaklaşımı gördüm.

 

Ahmet’in en belirgin özelliği bir işi yalnızca “kullanıcı” olarak görmemesidir. Eğer bir cihaz varsa nasıl çalıştığını anlamaya çalışır. Eğer bir sistem kurulmuşsa nasıl daha iyi çalışacağını düşünür.

Radyo stüdyolarında sabahlara kadar süren teknik hazırlıklar, verici sistemlerinin kurulumu, ses kayıtları ve yayın altyapıları o dönemin günlük rutinlerindendi. Çoğu zaman ekipman arızaları veya beklenmeyen sorunlar çıkardı. Ahmet’in farkı bu noktada ortaya çıkardı; sorunları yalnızca tespit etmekle kalmaz, çözüm üretirdi.

 

Daha sonra farklı sektörlerde de benzer bir yaklaşımı sürdürdü. Turizm sektöründe sahne ve teknik ekiplerle çalışırken, bilgisayar sistemleri kurarken ya da denizcilik operasyonlarında görev alırken aynı bakış açısını korudu.

 

Onun için bir radyo vericisi ile bir gemi operasyonu arasında düşündüğünüz kadar fark yoktur. İkisi de doğru kurulum, doğru koordinasyon ve dikkatli takip gerektirir.

 

Ahmet’i tanıyanlar onun meraklı bir karakter olduğunu bilir. Bir şeyi yalnızca yüzeysel olarak öğrenmekle yetinmez. Sistemin içine girer, detaylarını inceler ve nasıl daha iyi çalışabileceğini düşünür.

Belki de onu farklı kılan şey tam olarak budur.

 

Çalıştığımız yıllar boyunca şunu sık sık gördüm:
 

Bir problem çıktığında insanlar genellikle geri çekilir. Ahmet ise tam tersine probleme yaklaşır. İnceler, araştırır ve çözüm üretmeye çalışır.

 

Bugün farklı sektörlerde edindiği deneyimlerin ortak noktası da budur:
Sistemleri anlamak ve onları çalışır halde tutmak.

Bu siteyi gördüğünüzde burada anlatılanların yalnızca küçük bir kısmını görüyorsunuz. Çünkü Ahmet’in hikayesi tek bir meslek veya tek bir sektöre sığacak türden değildir.

 

Ama onu tanımlamak gerekirse sanırım en doğru cümle şu olur:

Ahmet Sözen, çalıştığı sistemleri yalnızca kullanan biri değil, onları gerçekten anlayan insanlardan biridir.

When you start working with Ahmet, you quickly realize one thing:
for him, systems are not just machines that need to function. Understanding how systems work, anticipating potential problems and finding solutions is simply part of his nature.

Over the years we had the chance to work together in different environments. From radio broadcasting and technical installations to computer systems and field operations, I consistently saw the same mindset.

One of Ahmet’s strongest qualities is that he never approaches technology as just a user. If a device exists, he wants to understand how it works. If a system is installed, he immediately starts thinking about how it could work better.

​

During the radio broadcasting years, it was common for us to spend long nights preparing technical setups. Studio installations, transmitter systems, audio recordings and broadcast infrastructure were part of daily life. Equipment failures and unexpected technical issues were also very common.

This is where Ahmet stood out. He didn’t just identify problems — he worked on solving them.

Later, when he moved across different industries, that same mindset remained. Whether working with stage technologies in tourism, building computer systems, or operating within maritime environments, his approach stayed the same.

For Ahmet, a radio transmitter and a maritime operation are not as different as they might seem. Both require correct setup, careful coordination and constant attention.

People who know him well also know that curiosity drives him. He rarely accepts things at face value. Instead, he examines systems deeply and tries to understand how they function internally.

 

Perhaps that is what makes him different.

Throughout the years we worked together, I noticed something very clear:
When problems arise, most people step back. Ahmet tends to move closer to the problem, analyze it and work toward a solution.

The common thread across all the sectors he has worked in is exactly this:

Understanding systems and keeping them running.

When you visit this website, you are only seeing a small part of that story. Because Ahmet’s experience does not fit neatly into a single profession or industry.

But if I had to describe him in one sentence, it would probably be this:

Ahmet Sözen is not just someone who operates systems — he is someone who truly understands them.
